Maori Gods

Maori Gods 
In class we designed Maori gods we used pastel and Markers to make it stand out. We had to finish it before Te reo Maori week was over. I did Tu because he was man of war he looked cool because I drew a six [pack] and mussels on him he had spiky hair and really cool spiky shoes.

Cross Country

Cross Country

On the 11th of September we did Cross Country. We had to come to school with muff ti and wear our house colour my house groups colour is Blue so I had to dress up in blue. Our first activities was to relax and play games. Every 30 minutes we would stop and move to our next activities we went to soccer shooting goals and we would have to wait in line in-till someone finished and the ball they had then the next person has to go and shoot but there was 15 balls to play with. The hand bell went and we went to go to do skipping with Miss Law and Miss Beard. Miss Beard could cris cross backwards and we had lots of fun. Next we went to the obstacles where Miss Daly was and Mr Rattan Bury we ran around the park.

Every Wednesday Te waka ako goes to play squash and learn how to play and what's it all about. We have 4 rotations and 4 courts. We play inside of our school hall. When my class goes to  play squash we get into groups of four and go to our space and start when our coach says rotate. We rotate to the different next station. We had to play aggressive and Challenge our self. In my group we have Mosese, Aniya, Jia and myself. In my first game I had almost hit the ball under the serving line but it hit right on top of it. We had to work as a team  and try get the most points but  at that time there were only two courts. court 1 was were you had to bounce the ball and catch it with two hands. The second one was to throw the ball up and catch it with one or two hands. Then we had to  tidy up and put the racket's and balls away. Miss Daly reads us a story till its home time. I really enjoy hitting the ball with my racket.

Mt Ruaphu 2019 Snow Camp

Mt Ruaphu 2019 Snow Camp.

Hi everyone Last week the Waikowhai students went on camp to Mt Ruaphu. When I was packing I went looking for my gear for camp I went to 4 to 5 markets to find my camp gear. When I was packing the night before camp my mum was helping me she put a thermals on this side and my mum told me where all clothes were than I was ready. I went sleep and woke up at 5:45 and had breakfast with my parents before I was going to leave. When I finished I went for a shower and got ready and then my mum got dressed so she could come drop me off and took heaps of photos of me.

When we got there we went inside and waited for everyone luggage. When you got you stuff you got to go with your parent  you room then put your suit case under the bed. You also Put your days bag with suit case or near it after that we all met up in the dinning room to have dinner and desert than we went sleep.

The next day we went skiing and snowboarding when we go there skiers had to go and get there skies and there ski boots when we got that done we had to get our cards to scan and get in. When we go in we got to play in the snow and throw snowballs at each other I threw 3 snow balls and head shot Atreyu, Demitrius and Jacob. Then we had to go get our skies and snowboards and we had lessons.
